## Overview

apyUSD is the ERC-4626 {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} wrapper of apxUSD, capturing dividends and preferred-equity yield from Apyx's Digital Asset Treasury collateral. apyUSD is the value-accruing wrapper over apxUSD, whose collateral base is unusual: preferred equity and a {{term:treasury}}Treasury{{/term}} buffer rather than standard cash-only reserves. Pharos tracks the wrapper with ERC-4626 reserve proof and keeps the underlying Apyx collateral risk visible through the parent dependency.
