## Overview

asUSDF is the staked, NAV-accreting wrapper of Aster's USDF, capturing yield from underlying {{term:delta-neutral}}delta-neutral{{/term}} and {{term:funding-rate}}funding-fee{{/term}} strategies on Binance/MirrorX. asUSDF is the yield-accruing Astherus wrapper around USDF, with a queue-style {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} path rather than instant stablecoin conversion. The model now reflects the two-hour waiting period and a conservative partial capacity assumption because exits depend on downstream USDF liquidity. Reserve dependency is captured through the wrapped USDF exposure instead of a duplicate manual dependency entry.

## Collateral

USDF deposited into the Aster Earn asToken wrapper; upstream USDF is backed by USDT held through Ceffu and delta-neutral Binance / MirrorX strategies.

## Peg Mechanism

Users stake USDF to mint asUSDF. asUSDF APY is reflected in NAV from delta-neutral and funding-fee strategies; withdrawals return USDF after Aster's documented T+1 hour / two-hour waiting period with no mint or withdrawal fee.
