## Overview

AUDm is Mento's crypto-backed Australian dollar on Celo, minted by depositing USDm as Liquity-v2-style {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} collateral against the {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralized{{/term}} Mento reserve mix. AUDm is the Mento Australian dollar asset on Celo, distinct from the already tracked Macropod AUDM despite the shared ticker style. It is admitted through DefiLlama and a verified Celo contract, with live reserve visibility through the shared Mento dashboard. The supply is small, so the value is mainly comparative: users can now see Mento's AUD rail beside larger AUD issuers and the rest of the Mento FX set. Reserves remain mixed and on-chain rather than an Australian-dollar banking stack.

Mento V3 oracle-priced FX stablecoin minted by depositing USDm as CDP collateral and borrowing AUDm against it; user-set interest rates, Stability Pool liquidations, and Liquity-style redemptions support the AUDm peg, with circuit breakers and Mento reserve transparency on the upstream USDm leg
