## Overview

BRLm is Mento's oracle-priced Brazilian real on Celo, exchanged through FPMM swap routes against the diversified {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralized{{/term}} Mento reserve mix. BRLm expands Mento coverage into Brazilian real-denominated settlement on Celo. Unlike the existing Mento {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} rows, this entry uses the reserve-wide Mento dashboard feed because the current CDP trove API only covers GBPm, JPYm, and CHFm. The reserve mix is diversified but still exposed to sUSDS, CELO, EURC, USDC, USDT, axlEUROC, stETH, and smaller assets, so Pharos classifies collateral quality as mixed rather than fiat-reserve grade. BRLm is small in absolute supply, but strategically useful because it adds another BRL rail from an already-modeled issuer family.

Mento V3 Liquity-v2-style CDPs collateralized by USDm; USDm in turn is backed by the diversified Mento Reserve mix (sUSDS, CELO, EURC, USDC, USDT, axlEUROC, stETH, and smaller positions exposed via the Mento reserve dashboard).

## Peg Mechanism

Mento V3 oracle-priced FX stablecoin minted by depositing USDm as CDP collateral and borrowing BRLm against it; user-set interest rates, Stability Pool liquidations, and Liquity-style redemptions support the BRLm peg, with circuit breakers and Mento reserve transparency on the upstream USDm leg.
