## Overview

CHFAU is AllUnity's MiCA-licensed CHF stablecoin, backed 1:1 in segregated EU bank accounts; competes on trust infrastructure, not yield. AllUnity's CHFAU extends the Deutsche Boerse consortium's stablecoin ambitions from the euro to the Swiss franc, backed by the same DWS-Galaxy-Flow Traders alliance that produced EURAU and regulated under the same BaFin EMI license. CHF reserves sit 1:1 at CRR credit institutions in segregated accounts, a reserve model that is aggressively boring by design — MiCA's EMT rules prohibit interest on token holdings, so CHFAU competes on trust infrastructure rather than {{term:yield-bearing}}yield{{/term}}. At roughly 2.5 million CHF in early circulation on Ethereum alone, it enters a CHF stablecoin market shared with VNX's VCHF and Frankencoin's decentralized ZCHF — three philosophically distinct approaches to putting the Swiss franc on-chain. The safe-haven currency angle is real: in periods of macro stress, CHF demand spikes, and having a MiCA-compliant on-ramp with institutional-grade plumbing positions CHFAU for a use case that only materializes when everything else is going wrong.
