## Overview

CHFm is Mento's {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}}-backed Swiss franc stablecoin on Celo, minted by borrowers against USDm collateral rather than fiat reserves, which gives it a very different risk profile from fiat-backed VCHF or Frankencoin. The collateral rows are exposed directly by the Mento reserve API, so the backing path is visible enough for reserve tracking even though the asset is small. {{term:overcollateralization}}Overcollateralization{{/term}} at a 110% minimum ratio and {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} through the Stability Pool drive peg maintenance, and the exit pillar leads the card. The N/A overall grade comes from the economic-control pillar, the weakest of the three: the token owner and proxy admin resolve to one 4-of-6 Mento Safe that can authorise a burner able to destroy any holder balance and can replace the implementation without delay. The residual risks are the single SortedOracles CHF/USD feed with no fallback, the USDm collateral path, and thin secondary liquidity.
