## Overview

CHFm is a Mento CDP-backed Swiss franc stablecoin on Celo, minted against USDm collateral rather than fiat reserves. CHFm gives Pharos another Swiss-franc stablecoin, but with a very different risk profile from fiat-backed VCHF or Frankencoin. Its reserves are USDm collateral posted into Mento {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} troves, and Mento live data exposes those rows directly. The asset is small, but the backing path is visible enough for reserve tracking. The residual risks are the Celo/Mento mechanism, USDm collateral path, and thin secondary liquidity. {{term:overcollateralization}}Overcollateralization{{/term}} and {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} logic inside Mento drive peg maintenance.
