## Overview

COPm is Mento's oracle-priced Colombian peso stablecoin on Celo; first COP reference on Pharos. COPm adds Colombian peso stablecoin coverage through Mento's Celo deployment. DefiLlama supplies price and circulating-value data, while the contract is verified from the Celo token-contract table. COP is grouped under OTHER rather than a dedicated peg category. The addition is small-cap but useful because it gives the dashboard a first Colombian peso reference. The reserve relies on {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} across a mixed crypto and stablecoin basket and {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} runs through Mento reserve swaps.

Mento V3 Liquity-v2-style CDPs collateralized by USDm; USDm in turn is backed by the diversified Mento Reserve mix (sUSDS, CELO, EURC, USDC, USDT, axlEUROC, stETH, and smaller positions exposed via the Mento reserve dashboard).

## Peg Mechanism

Mento V3 oracle-priced FX stablecoin minted by depositing USDm as CDP collateral and borrowing COPm against it; user-set interest rates, Stability Pool liquidations, and Liquity-style redemptions support the COPm peg, with circuit breakers and Mento reserve transparency on the upstream USDm leg.
