## Overview

Clearstar cbAssets Vault is a USDC-denominated Morpho Vault V2 on Base that lends against Coinbase-wrapped assets and other reviewed collateral positions. Its receipt appreciates with net borrower interest but bears market credit, collateral and smart-contract risk. USDC withdrawals depend on the selected liquidity market, and the separate force-deallocation route cannot be counted as additional ordinary redemption liquidity. A three-of-six owner Safe and two-of-three curator Safe govern the deployment, with allocation timelocks distinct from immediately changeable fee parameters. The share-transfer and direct-withdrawal gates are permanently disabled, although deposit gating and underlying USDC freezing remain relevant. Onchain positions identify operational custody, but borrower-side safeguards and shareholder insolvency priority remain unproven.

## Peg Mechanism

ERC-4626 shares accrue net USDC lending interest and realize losses at NAV. Ordinary withdraw/redeem uses idle USDC and the configured liquidity adapter, subject to liquidity; force-deallocation and in-kind exits are separate, not guaranteed dollar settlement
