## Overview

cUSDO is OpenEden's non-rebasing wrapper of USDO; same T-bill reserve, yield compounds via price rather than balance. cUSDO is OpenEden's non-rebasing wrapper for USDO. It keeps the same {{term:treasury}}Treasury{{/term}}-backed reserve and issuer {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} framework as the base token, but converts daily {{term:yield-bearing}}yield{{/term}} distribution into price appreciation so it can plug into protocols that do not handle rebasing balances well. Economically it is still an OpenDollar claim, just in a different wrapper format. The underlying claim is an {{term:rwa}}RWA{{/term}} short-Treasury exposure.

## Collateral

USDO wrapped into OpenEden's non-rebasing cUSDO format; the wrapper holds USDO, which is backed by tokenized U.S. Treasury Bills (primarily OpenEden TBILL and BlackRock BUIDL tokens) held by OpenEden Digital (OED) at 100% collateralization; cUSDO yield accrues through price appreciation rather than rebasing

## Peg Mechanism

Users can wrap USDO into cUSDO or unwrap cUSDO back into USDO at any time; unlike rebasing USDO, cUSDO compounds by increasing in redeemable USDO per token
