## Overview

earnUSD compounds returns from Mellow-curated dollar-denominated protocol strategies into a transferable Lido vault share. The ordinary withdrawal route returns USDC through a request-and-claim queue, with a typical wait rather than a guaranteed settlement deadline. Share logic is upgradeable, holder restrictions can be configured, and the observed curator quorum differs from the published deployment table. Current look-through allocations and independent financial reconciliation remain unverified, so contract addresses and share accounting do not establish complete backing or recovery protection.

## Collateral

Lido/Mellow earnUSD MetaVault allocates across earnUSDc (conservative) and earnUSDe (experimental) underlying vaults; USDC/USDT deposits and USDC withdrawal denomination do not establish current allocation weights, holdings or encumbrances.

## Peg Mechanism

Returns compound into vault shares using privileged oracle reports. Deposits and request-and-claim withdrawals are processed by queues; the documented USDC withdrawal wait is typically about three days, not a guaranteed maximum.
