## Overview

EURI is Banking Circle's MiCA-licensed euro stablecoin with fee-free 1:1 {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} — a {{term:custody}}credit-institution{{/term}} wrapper engineered for Binance distribution. Eurite exists because Binance needed a MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin and Banking Circle had the Luxembourg CSSF credit institution license to provide one — 70% euro cash in segregated fiduciary accounts, 30% EU government securities, Ernst & Young {{term:attestation}}attestations{{/term}}, all the regulatory furniture arranged correctly. The peg side of that wrapper is impeccable: an A+ peg, a DEWS reading parked at the calm end of the stress scale, and not a single depeg on record. What drags the overall grade down to C+ is liquidity, which sits at an outright F — Binance's endorsement clearly does not translate into organic on-chain trading depth. With no yield product and deployment limited to Ethereum and BSC, Eurite is less a standalone stablecoin and more a compliance wrapper that lets Binance's European users stay in euros without leaving the exchange's orbit.
