## Overview

EURO3 is 3A DAO's overcollateralized euro {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} stablecoin on Polygon and Linea, minted against crypto collateral in user-owned vaults. EURO3 is a 3A DAO euro stablecoin created through {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralized{{/term}} vault borrowing and burned when users repay or redeem against collateral. DefiLlama supplies price and circulating-balance data, with current activity split across Linea and Polygon, but there is no CoinGecko geckoId and supply is very small. The design gives Pharos a crypto-backed euro reference, while liquidity, oracle depth, and governance details remain the practical risk areas.

## Peg Mechanism

Overcollateralized vault minting and redemption: users mint EURO3 loans against approved collateral, repay debt to burn EURO3, and can redeem EURO3 against vault collateral when the protocol's redemption conditions are met
