## Overview

GBPm is Mento's British pound stablecoin on Celo, minted from {{term:cdp}}CDPs{{/term}} collateralized by USDm with oracle-priced {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}}. GBPm extends Mento's Celo FX stablecoin set into sterling using USDm-collateralized CDP rows rather than the older shared reserve basket alone. Mento's dashboard API exposes GBPm troves, turning live collateral and debt into visible reserve evidence. That makes the entry useful despite a modest supply footprint because the backing path is visible and cheap to maintain. The primary risk is dependency on Mento oracles, Celo execution, and USDm collateral quality.
