## Overview

GBPSAFO is the GBP share of Spiko's UCITS Amundi Smart Cash {{term:money-market-fund}}MMF{{/term}} — a permissioned NAV share with overnight-swap exposure, not a retail GBP stablecoin. GBPSAFO extends Spiko Smart Cash coverage to a sterling-denominated share class. The reserve description follows the same fully collateralized overnight total-return swap structure as the USD and EUR SAFO classes, so the {{term:rwa}}RWA{{/term}} risk model is medium rather than pure cash. The token is best understood as a permissioned NAV share, not a retail GBP stablecoin.

## Collateral

GBP share class of Spiko's Amundi-managed Smart Cash UCITS fund. Returns come from a fully collateralized total-return swap under which counterparty BNP Paribas pays SONIA + 0.27% daily; the swap is backed by a basket of listed equities marked to market daily, with CACEIS (Credit Agricole) acting as depositary.

## Peg Mechanism

GBP-denominated NAV-accreting share class; subscriptions and redemptions are KYC-gated through Spiko fund-transfer rails at the published fund NAV.
