## Overview

GHSm is Mento's Celo Ghanaian cedi stablecoin backed by a mixed reserve (sUSDS, CELO, EURC, USDC, stETH) — small-supply currency coverage rather than a market signal. GHSm brings Ghanaian cedi exposure into Pharos through Mento's Celo stablecoin suite. DefiLlama provides price and supply data, while CoinGecko's active slug resolves as cGHS rather than the stale DefiLlama gecko hint. Like KESm and COPm, GHSm is grouped under OTHER because GHS does not yet have a dedicated peg category. It is very small, but it extends coverage into a currency region otherwise missing from the dashboard, with backing tied to Mento's shared {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralized{{/term}} reserve and on-chain {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} flows.

Mento V3 Liquity-v2-style CDPs collateralized by USDm; USDm in turn is backed by the diversified Mento Reserve mix (sUSDS, CELO, EURC, USDC, USDT, axlEUROC, stETH, and smaller positions exposed via the Mento reserve dashboard).

## Peg Mechanism

Mento V3 oracle-priced FX stablecoin minted by depositing USDm as CDP collateral and borrowing GHSm against it; user-set interest rates, Stability Pool liquidations, and Liquity-style redemptions support the GHSm peg, with circuit breakers and Mento reserve transparency on the upstream USDm leg.
