## Overview

GLDY is Streamex's {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} tokenized gold ounce on Base, with Chainlink Proof of Reserve and gold-leasing receivables as the source of returns. Streamex GLDY tracks one troy ounce of gold while passing gold-leasing yield back to token holders. The entry is stronger than most new commodity tokens because it has a Chainlink proof-of-reserves feed on Base and a documented primary-market {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} route for eligible investors. The main caveat is that the yield comes from issuer-managed gold leasing rather than passive vault storage, so Pharos separates the live reserve feed from the not-yet-integrated APY source. GLDY is tracked as a commodity stablecoin, not as a generic RWA fund.
