## Overview

USDC-collateralized dollar with duration-matched private credit deployment: roughly a fifth of reserves liquid, the rest in 30-day-unwind credit strategies, with redemptions queued under stress. InfiniFi's iUSD routes USDC into institutional private credit — Fasanara, FalconX, Sentora, Maple — behind a liquid DeFi buffer on Spark, Fluid, and Aave, with the siUSD savings wrapper passing through the yield. The structural tension the model was always going to face has now shown up in the grades: a D overall safety grade, dragged down by failing liquidity and resilience marks, because only about a fifth of the backing can be pulled instantly while four-fifths sits locked in credit positions. The peg itself holds cleanly and iUSD rarely strays from the calm end of the stress scale, but a flat stress reading is cold comfort when the real risk is a liquidity wall, not a price wobble. No depeg events recorded yet, which either means the queue is doing exactly its job or that the redemption test that matters has not arrived. Functionally siUSD is a {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} wrapper over private-credit {{term:rwa}}RWA{{/term}} positions, with the buffer-driven {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} queue acting as the gate when liquid reserves run thin — you are earning credit fund returns and bearing credit fund risks through a stablecoin interface.
