## Overview

Small CDP yen on Celo backed by USDm collateral via Mento troves; CoinGecko-admitted, Mento API exposes live CDP collateral. JPYm is a small but active yen stablecoin on Celo, backed by USDm collateral in Mento CDP troves. Pharos uses CoinGecko admission because DefiLlama's JPYm supply row is zero, while the Mento API still exposes live CDP collateral. The Mento API keeps reserve visibility aligned with GBPm and CHFm. JPYm is tracked for strategic non-USD coverage, with liquidity and oracle dependency as the main caveats. As a Mento FX stablecoin, JPYm rests on a {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} with USDm {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} and oracle-priced FPMM swaps acting as the {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} surface against the reserve.
