## Overview

Long-tail multichain USD token (BSC + Polygon) with issuer/protocol-managed crypto collateral; reserve composition unverified. JUSD is a long-tail dollar token with BSC and Polygon contracts and issuer/protocol documentation. Pharos models its reserves as protocol-managed crypto collateral because public materials do not provide a reviewed, granular collateral breakdown. The BSC deployment is used for curated validation, while Polygon is kept for discovery. Its main risk is not the stated dollar target, but the limited transparency around reserve composition and live redemption depth. Until JUSD publishes a third-party {{term:attestation}}attestation{{/term}} and discloses {{term:custody}}custody{{/term}}, the {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} backstop and reserve quality remain unmodelled by Pharos.

## Collateral

Self-described "diversified reserve of high-quality assets" managed by the issuer; the 2023 whitepaper claims supply is minted/burned as the issuer adds or reduces backing assets but names no specific reserve assets, custodians, or amounts and publishes no attestation.
