## Overview

NAV-style dollar reference token on Arbitrum tied to LUA floor-price mechanics; not a 1:1 redeemable fiat stablecoin. Lumi Finance LUAUSD is not a conventional 1:1 redeemable dollar. It is a dollar-referenced synthetic tied to LUA floor-price and protocol-owned liquidity mechanics, so Pharos marks it as NAV-style and high risk. The Arbitrum contract enables curated validation, but the reserve slice is intentionally broad because public proof is weak. This entry is included for provider coverage, with a warning that the stability claim is nonstandard. The peg claim is closer to an {{term:algorithmic}}algorithmic{{/term}} floor-price reference than fiat backing, and no documented {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} window or third-party {{term:attestation}}attestation{{/term}} is currently modelled by Pharos.

Over-collateralized by LUA staked at the protocol floor price, plus a diversified stablecoin reserve of USDT and USDC held as protocol-owned liquidity (including Lumi's Curve pool)

Lumi's AMO (Algorithmic Market Operations) Protocol mints or redeems LUAUSD to rebalance its Curve pool toward the dollar, with the stablecoin reserve and rising LUA floor price as backing; it is not a hard 1:1 redeemable fiat stablecoin and has traded persistently below $1
