## Overview

MoveUSD is a CFX-issued dollar settlement instrument on Solana with a DefiLlama supply feed and a live price path. The token is best read as tokenized-deposit infrastructure rather than a permissionless DeFi-native stablecoin: minting and {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} run through the issuer for approved customers, while the SPL mint gives Pharos a concrete on-chain supply anchor. Reserves are described as U.S. dollar deposits held 1:1 in beneficiary accounts at an FDIC-member bank that CFX does not name, and no dated independent reserve report is public. The mint and freeze authorities sit with a program-controlled address, so issuance is concentrated and unreconciled, and backing and economic control both sit at the floor of the card.
