## Overview

Mexican Peso Tether offers verified clients a contractual peso redemption claim on the issuer's shared fiat-token reserve book. BDO's quarterly reasonable-assurance report reconciles that aggregate book, which includes credit and market assets alongside Treasury instruments, but does not establish a dedicated MXNT allocation or custodian roster. Ethereum minting, blocked-balance destruction and upgrades are controlled by a legacy three-of-six wallet whose signer independence is unverified. The large redemption minimum and minimum fee restrict the primary exit to substantial verified clients. DefiLlama supplies the admitted current price and circulation path; the unresolved CoinGecko detail identity is deliberately excluded.

## Collateral

Tether's shared reserves for fiat-denominated tokens include Treasuries, reverse repos, bank cash, gold, bitcoin, secured loans, equities and other investments; no dedicated MXNT allocation is disclosed.

## Peg Mechanism

Verified Tether clients may mint and redeem at one Mexican peso per MXNT less fees. The USD 100,000-equivalent minimum and fee floor restrict access; timing and capacity are not guaranteed.
