## Overview

First Malaysian ringgit stablecoin, 1:1 MYR at Maybank under UTMB trustee with monthly attestations; eKYC-gated to Malaysian residents, unlicensed by BNM/SC, tiny supply, single-bank single-jurisdiction concentration. MYRC is a Malaysian Ringgit-pegged stablecoin issued by Blox Blockchain Sdn Bhd, deployed natively on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Solana. Each token is collateralised 1:1 by MYR cash deposits held at Maybank under the trustee {{term:custody}}custody{{/term}} of Universal Trustee (Malaysia) Bhd. Mint and {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} flow through Malaysian banking rails (FPX) and require eKYC via MyKad, restricting access to Malaysian residents with linked local bank accounts. Blox publishes monthly third-party {{term:attestation}}attestations{{/term}} on its transparency page, but the issuer holds no license from Bank Negara Malaysia or the Securities Commission Malaysia — SC Malaysia disclaimed jurisdiction in 2022 and BNM has not yet finalised a stablecoin framework. Circulating supply is small (~MYR 5.3M) and reserves are concentrated in a single bank and trustee in a single jurisdiction.

## Peg Mechanism

1:1 mint and redemption against Malaysian Ringgit via Malaysian banking rails (FPX). Eligibility requires Malaysian eKYC (MyKad) and a linked Malaysian bank account; mint authority on each chain is restricted to a Blox-controlled key.
