## Overview

Legacy Synapse bridge-liquidity stable asset backed by a DAI/USDC/USDT pool; closer to bridge routing infrastructure than a standalone modern issuer, with inherited freezability and dependency risk. Nexus USD is a legacy Synapse {{term:bridge}}bridge{{/term}}-liquidity stable asset backed by a pool of DAI, USDC, and USDT. It is included because DefiLlama still returns both a current price and circulating supply, but the product model is closer to bridge routing infrastructure than to a standalone modern issuer. The upstream reserve basket gives NUSD inherited freezability and stablecoin dependency risk. Contract coverage is intentionally omitted until the active Synapse deployment set is freshly verified across chains.
