## Overview

Small Avalanche CDP stablecoin minted by Nereus Finance against overcollateralized lending positions; transparent enough to track, risky enough to score conservatively, with a sustained soft-depeg pattern. NXUSD is a crypto-backed debt token minted through Nereus Finance on Avalanche via {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} mechanics. The reserve stack is modeled as {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralized{{/term}} lending positions, which makes the peg dependent on collateral volatility, {{term:liquidation}}liquidations{{/term}}, and protocol governance. Pharos uses the Avalanche contract for curated reserve validation, but does not infer a liquid par {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} path from that alone. NXUSD fits the small CDP stablecoin pattern: transparent enough to track, risky enough to score conservatively.
