## Overview

GAIB's staked AID vault token floats with the NAV of AI infrastructure financing positions — a different asset profile from AID's stable base.

sAID is GAIB's staked AID vault token. Unlike AID, which is intended as the stable base currency backed by {{term:treasury}}Treasuries{{/term}} and accepted stablecoins, sAID floats with the NAV of AI infrastructure financing positions plus stable reserve buffers — a {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} wrapper sitting on a private credit book. Monthly withdrawal cycles, unrealized-loss-aware unstaking NAV, and private AI financing exposure make it a materially different asset from AID.

## Collateral

AID staked into GAIB's ERC-4626 sAID vault; vault capital is deployed into AI infrastructure financings (GPUs, robotics, and related compute) plus a stable reserve buffer of T-bills and stablecoins for liquidity

## Peg Mechanism

sAID is not pegged to $1; it is minted by staking AID at the staking NAV (which ignores unrealized losses, keeping the mint price stable) and redeemed through a monthly withdrawal-cohort cycle: requests submitted within a calendar month are aggregated, liquidity is sourced the following month, and funds settle on the first day of the third month at the unstaking NAV (which subtracts unrealized losses). Selling sAID on a supported DEX is the immediate-liquidity alternative.
