Brale's SBC tripled from $3.9M to $12.2M in the past month — the fastest proportional growth in the tracked set — yet its safety grade has slipped to B-, dragged down by a liquidity grade that lands near the bottom of the scale. The backing is not the problem: reserves are 100% very-low-risk, split evenly between cash and short-duration {{term:treasury}}Treasuries{{/term}}, deployed across 10 chains from a FinCEN-licensed money transmitter with regulated bank {{term:custody}}custody{{/term}} and zero-fee {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}}. The tension the grade reflects is the one this token was always going to live with: a recurring series of brief depeg blips and an effective DEX TVL of just $5M spread thin across a 10-chain footprint, broader distribution than tokens fifty times its size can claim. That is entirely the point — this is a reference implementation for Brale's stablecoin-as-a-service platform, not a consumer product. SBC exists so Brale can tell enterprise clients their infrastructure works, and the tripling supply suggests those conversations are landing; the slipping grade just confirms that distribution breadth is not the same as liquidity depth.
