## Overview

Savings xDAI wraps Gnosis Chain’s WXDAI in an immutable savings vault, with yield reflected in the amount of WXDAI each share can redeem. Holders can convert shares back to WXDAI on-chain without a local cooldown, then unwrap into native xDAI. The fixed-asset contract has no local owner or privileged share minter, but that narrow control finding leaves the xDAI bridge and Sky reserve dependencies intact. Its balance and share accounting are reproducible on-chain; this does not establish independently audited financial reconciliation or legal priority over upstream reserves. The holder’s final dollar exit therefore depends on the underlying bridge and stablecoin system rather than a direct fiat redemption right.

## Collateral

WXDAI held directly in the immutable Gnosis SavingsXDai vault; underlying xDAI bridge and Sky backing remains inherited.

## Peg Mechanism

Holders deposit WXDAI for ERC-4626 shares and redeem for WXDAI at the current asset-per-share rate, then may unwrap WXDAI into native xDAI. No local cooldown or withdrawal fee is implemented; gas applies. Conversion is not a fiat-dollar redemption guarantee.
