## Overview

Aave's non-slashable GHO yield product — 1:1 deposits, governance-set savings rate, no cooldown — separate from the slashable Umbrella stkGHO safety module.

Aave Savings GHO (sGHO) is the non-slashable GHO {{term:yield-bearing}}yield product{{/term}} offered alongside the slashable Umbrella stkGHO safety module. Depositors mint sGHO against GHO at a 1:1 conversion and receive GHO-denominated emissions at the Aave-governance-set savings rate. The contract holds approximately $267M of GHO and pays out without cooldown or slashing risk; it is distinct from the Umbrella stkGHO position that absorbs deficit events for the GHO market, and underneath sits GHO's own {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} collateral profile. Yield is governance-set, so emissions can move with Aave DAO decisions.

## Peg Mechanism

Deposit GHO into the ERC-4626 sGHO vault to mint sGHO shares; the share-to-GHO exchange rate rises as the Aave-governance-set savings rate accrues. The vault's `asset()` is GHO and standard ERC-4626 `convertToAssets()` / `totalAssets()` reads expose NAV per share. Pharos prices this entry from the vault's share exchange rate rather than secondary-market liquidity.
