# Resupply Savings reUSD (sreUSD)

## Overview

sreUSD is Resupply's savings share for REUSD, funded by the protocol's weekly revenue rather than separate reward-token emissions. Revenue streams through the vault's exchange rate, leaving holders exposed to REUSD's lending-collateral and liquidation risks. The native Ethereum contract holds REUSD and permits share redemption without a local cooldown or penalty fee; conversion from REUSD into other assets is a separate exit with the parent's costs and liquidity constraints. The savings implementation is nonproxy, while Resupply Core retains reward and potential bridge-configuration powers. Reproducible local balances establish the immediate position but do not establish independent audit coverage of the savings implementation or a funded stressed-recovery waterfall.

## Peg Mechanism

Deposit REUSD to mint sreUSD shares; weekly protocol revenue is streamed through seven-day reward cycles and increases the REUSD exchange rate. Native withdraw/redeem burns shares for REUSD without a local cooldown or penalty fee. Conversion into other stablecoins remains a separate parent REUSD route, including its communal redemption fee and stress risks.
