## Overview

a soul-bound BSC yield wrapper minted from USDC and routed through Venus lending, with operator-controlled exits rather than open redemption. HedgeCore Staked USD Coin is built around USDC deposits routed into Venus yield strategies on BSC. Pharos marks the token as {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} because the product documentation describes yield distribution through HedgeCore mechanisms, while keeping the yield source conservative until a reliable public APY feed is available. The token is operationally restricted: docs describe soul-bound behavior and operator-controlled early {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} paths. Users deposit USDC to mint soul-bound sUSD 1:1; Venus lending interest accrues in vUSDC and is distributed to holders by operator-triggered rewardMint() calls (93% to sUSD holders, 7% protocol fee); liquidity is provided only through a one-way hUSDC->sUSD ERC-20 wrapper (no reverse conversion), and redemption is operator-controlled rather than a free liquid backstop
