## Overview

sUSDf is Falcon Finance's savings share for deposited USDf, with rewards from the protocol's trading strategies increasing its USDf exchange rate as they vest. The immediate backing is USDf in the Ethereum vault; Falcon's upstream collateral, hedging and custody risks remain part of the holder's exposure. Direct contract redemption currently has no cooldown, but administrators can introduce a delay of up to 90 days, restrict accounts and burn or move restricted shares. A 4-of-6 Safe controls the proxy upgrade path, while platform redemption separately requires approved onboarding. Local onchain accounting does not establish independent assurance of Falcon's net hedge positions or enforceable holder priority in a default.

## Peg Mechanism

Deposit USDf to mint sUSDf shares; USDf rewards increase the share-to-USDf exchange rate as they vest. Direct share redemption has cooldownDuration() = 0 at Ethereum block 26107704 on 2026-10-02, but administrators can introduce a cooldown of up to 90 days and restrict deposit or redemption accounts. Platform redemption separately requires approved onboarding and remains subject to Falcon's terms.
