## Overview

sUSDx is the accumulating savings receipt for USDx, not a second independently backed dollar. Realized strategy rewards vest into the vault's accounted assets, increasing each share's USDx claim while leaving the underlying exchange-held trading risks intact. Redemption burns shares into a pending request, waits through the configured seven-day cooldown and still requires a privileged servicer before assets become claimable. The contract reserves assets for pending and claimable exits, but this local accounting safeguard does not demonstrate the solvency of USDx's offchain portfolio. Governance can change operating parameters and restrict vault participants, making the serviced queue and parent backing essential limits on the otherwise permissionless savings wrapper.

## Collateral

Canonical USDx deposited into Axis's Ethereum StakedUSDx vault. Active principal and vested USDx rewards back outstanding shares; funded but unvested rewards and pending or claimable redemption liabilities are excluded from totalAssets and share pricing. Upstream USDx portfolio, venue and hedge risks remain inherited.

## Peg Mechanism

Users deposit USDx for ERC-4626 shares whose exchange rate rises as funded rewards vest. ERC-7540 requestRedeem burns shares and reserves USDx inside the vault; after the configured cooldown, a privileged servicer makes the request claimable. The cooldown was 604800 seconds at Ethereum block 26107703 on October 2, 2026, but does not guarantee completion after seven days. previewRedeem and previewWithdraw revert because exits are asynchronous; still-pending requests may be cancelled.
