syrupUSDC's USDT counterpart with identical Maple mechanics and Proof of Reserves, just smaller and Ethereum-only. Maple's USDT counterpart to syrupUSDC runs on identical mechanics — ERC-4626 vault, institutional borrower pool, {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}}-backed credit lines — as the smaller sibling. The distinction matters less than it appears: both feed from the same Maple lending infrastructure as {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} receipts, and Maple's Proof of Reserves now gives the USDT vault the same {{term:attestation}}attestation{{/term}}-style independent loan-collateral verification by The Network Firm, with similar {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} dynamics if borrowers default. Ethereum-only deployment limits its DeFi composability compared to syrupUSDC's multi-chain reach, which may explain the size gap. For yield-seekers who prefer their stablecoin exposure in Tether rather than Circle, syrupUSDT is the vault; the economics are otherwise indistinguishable.
