# RISE Dollar (USDR)

## Overview

USDR is RISE's native settlement dollar, backed locally by M0's M token. RISE retains the reserve yield rather than passing it through to holders. The reviewed extension held enough M to cover its outstanding USDR, but this on-chain observation does not establish current legal priority or independent assurance over the upstream Treasury book. Public conversion through the deployed SwapFacility leads to wM; direct M output requires an approved swapper, and an eligibility read does not prove a completed cash exit. A 2-of-3 operational Safe and a separate 4-of-8 upgrade Safe govern local controls, including holder freezing. Holders therefore depend on both the M parent and RISE's configurable extension and exit routes.

M0 M tokens held by the chain-local extension; the M parent provides the Treasury-backed issuance and custody layer.

## Peg Mechanism

M-extension wrapping and unwrapping conserve the deposited M claim. The current SwapFacility restricts direct M output to approved swappers; an unprivileged sample canSwapViaPath(child,wM) returned true while child-to-M returned false. This is technical conversion eligibility, not a sent transaction or a cash redemption right.
