## Overview

USDso is a Frax-issued Somnia dollar backed by frxUSD in a local BrandedCustodian. The reviewed custodian held frxUSD equal to outstanding USDso and offered zero-fee, same-chain parent-token redemption under its current configuration. Somnia's terms give holders no reserve-yield entitlement and place redemption responsibility with Frax rather than the website operator. A 3-of-6 Safe controls the token's proxy and the custodian's beacon, so it can replace the logic that governs issuance and backing. The current custodian also contains owner-only recovery of reserve tokens, although a direct forwarding route from its factory owner was not established. Returning to frxUSD leaves holders exposed to its upstream custody and fiat-redemption restrictions.

Somnia frxUSD held by the local BrandedCustodian; Treasury funds and other cash-equivalent reserves sit upstream in frxUSD.

## Peg Mechanism

The BrandedCustodian burns caller-owned USDso and returns frxUSD. At the pin, custodianTkn() was Somnia frxUSD 0x00000000d61733e7a393a10a5b48c311abe8f1e5; totalAssets(), brandedCoinMinted(), actual frxUSD custody and child supply matched. previewRedeem(1e18)=1e18, redeemFee()=0 and isolatedBackingEnabled()=false. The terms identify Frax Inc. and/or affiliates as issuer, disclaim Somnia fiat-redemption responsibility and exclude a holder yield entitlement.
