## Overview

USDsui is Sui's native dollar issued through Bridge (Stripe), backed by short-dated {{term:treasury}}Treasuries{{/term}}/repos/MMFs -- a native fiat-backed dollar rather than a bridged USDC. USDsui is the Sui ecosystem dollar issued through Bridge, Stripe's stablecoin infrastructure arm. The asset gives Sui a native fiat-backed stablecoin rather than another {{term:bridge}}bridged{{/term}} dollar, with DefiLlama exposing supply and price data for live peg monitoring. The reserve model is conventional Bridge Open Issuance: cash, short-dated {{term:treasury}}Treasuries{{/term}}, repos, and government {{term:money-market-fund}}money-market funds{{/term}} support mint and {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}}, with institutional {{term:custody}}custody{{/term}}. DefiLlama supply and price data support peg monitoring, while reserve composition remains curated until Bridge publishes a USDsui-specific reserve feed or Sui supply data with stronger public verification.
