## Overview

USDU Finance is refreshingly honest about what it is: an intentionally undercollateralized stablecoin at roughly 40% backing, minted through DAO-approved adapters connected to Curve, TermMax, and Morpho vault positions, designed explicitly for professional market participants who can price the risk. The C- safety grade and a failing liquidity score mean exit liquidity is essentially nonexistent for any meaningful position, with DEX depth thin and concentrated in a single venue. Supply has sat flat near $5 million for weeks, suggesting the professional audience it targets has sized its exposure and stopped. The modular adapter architecture is genuinely interesting engineering — dynamic Curve liquidity management, fixed-rate TermMax lending, Morpho vault integration — but building sophisticated infrastructure around a product that deliberately skips the {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} step is the kind of experiment that works until it doesn't.
