## Overview

dForce USD is an older multichain {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}}-style stablecoin trading at a severe discount to the dollar, tracked as a depeg-risk reference rather than a healthy par dollar. dForce USD is an older multichain stablecoin with both stablecoin and {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} protocol routes, sustained by {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}}-style collateral and {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} mechanics. It remains active in DefiLlama, but current provider prices show a severe discount to the dollar target, so Pharos flags the depeg risk directly. The Ethereum contract is used for curated reserve validation, while the reserve slice stays broad because public collateral composition is not granular enough. USX is tracked, but not treated as a healthy par-dollar backstop.
