## Overview

Youves's uUSD is a Tezos {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} backed by XTZ, tzBTC, USDt, and SIRS LP tokens, with a safety score of literally zero and a permanently failed peg around $0.935. uUSD has earned the only distinction worse than an F grade: a safety score of literally zero, the absolute floor of the Pharos scale, shared with almost no other tracked stablecoin. Trading at $0.935 with thousands of recorded depeg events and an 8,890-basis-point worst positive deviation, uUSD exists in a state of permanent, currently active peg failure on a Tezos ecosystem that has effectively emptied out beneath it. The collateral — 60% XTZ, 20% USDt-on-Tezos, 10% tzBTC, 10% SIRS LP tokens — still technically backs the {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}}s via {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} with {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} mechanics, but zero DEX liquidity, zero pools, no backstop route, and a stress monitor pinned at the alarm end of the scale confirm there is no market mechanism left to enforce the peg. Supply has barely moved in months at $11.6M, which is not stability but rigor mortis. The uUSD story is a cautionary tale about chain risk: sound {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} mechanics are worthless when the entire ecosystem around them goes dark.
