## Overview

vCRED is a Hemi-based credit stable asset with thin public reserve detail — protocol credit and crypto collateral, no verified fiat reserve. vCRED is a Hemi-based credit stable asset with limited public reserve granularity. Pharos adds the Hemi contract and treats the backing as protocol credit and crypto collateral via {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}}-style {{term:overcollateralization}}overcollateralization{{/term}} rather than a verified fiat reserve. The curated reserve sync can validate supply on the configured EVM chain, but it cannot validate the off-chain or strategy quality behind the collateral. The result is a tracked but high-risk long-tail dollar where {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} parameters and redemption depth remain operationally opaque.
