VNX Gold represents one gram of physical gold and fits the same regulated-issuer pattern as VNX's fiat stablecoins. AREVA reserve reports and {{term:attestation}}attestation{{/term}}-style VNX documentation give enough backing detail to track the token, while the Ethereum supply probe provides lightweight live sync until a stronger public reserve API is available. Redemption is meaningful but operationally constrained: verified platform users can sell or request physical delivery from larger bar denominations. The risk is less the gold unit and more the issuer, custody, and platform access path.
