WEUSD is tracked under PicWe (not WEMIX) as a USDC wrapper minted and redeemed 1:1 against USDC, currently trading off-peg near $0.91 despite the documented backing. WEUSD is tracked under PicWe, not WEMIX, because the current documentation and contracts describe PicWe WEUSD. The reserve model is simple today — USDC backing with on-chain {{term:redemption}}redemption{{/term}} rails — while future {{term:rwa}}RWA{{/term}}/yield collateral stays outside the current scoring assumptions. The off-peg pricing despite documented backing suggests the cross-chain arbitrage loop is not closing efficiently.
