## Overview

A Rootstock basket dollar minted 1:1 from bridged stablecoins — a basket exit route, not a fiat-issuer promise, with recursive bridge and dependency risk.

XUSD is BabelFish's Rootstock basket stablecoin, backed by DLLR plus {{term:bridge}}bridged{{/term}} USDT, USDC, DAI, DOC, and related bAssets, with mint and redeem flowing through a basket-level {{term:psm}}PSM-style{{/term}} module. Pharos tracks live branch balances directly from the basket holder and links the largest dependency back to the newly tracked DLLR entry. The model is useful but recursive: XUSD inherits the risks of Rootstock {{term:bridge}}bridge{{/term}} liquidity, DLLR's own basket, and BabelFish's balancing fees. It is a basket exit route, not a fiat issuer promise.
