## Overview

Yearn's ERC-4626 wrapper deploys BOLD into Liquity V2 Stability Pools, layering vault and strategy risk onto Liquity's CDP-redemption design.

yBOLD is Yearn's ERC-4626 wrapper around BOLD deposited into Liquity V2 Stability Pool strategies — a {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} wrapper that auto-compounds {{term:liquidation}}liquidation{{/term}} rewards from Liquity's {{term:cdp}}CDP{{/term}} system. It keeps the economic exposure anchored to BOLD while automating allocation across Stability Pools and liquidation-reward compounding through Yearn-managed strategy contracts. Holders can {{term:redemption}}redeem{{/term}} the vault share back into BOLD at the live exchange rate, but the exposure is not the same as holding base BOLD: it adds Yearn vault governance, strategy execution, auction, and smart-contract risk on top of Liquity's collateral-redemption design.
