## Overview

A USDC-only yield aggregator on Base whose NAV can move with strategy outcomes — a sophisticated optimizer wearing stablecoin clothing, not a risk-free dollar claim.

YO Protocol's yoUSD automates what DeFi power users do manually: rebalancing USDC across 50+ yield sources on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Unichain, ranked by risk scores with per-pool and per-protocol concentration caps. That diversification still leaves holders exposed to venue and allocator risk. The March 22 2026 Resolv exploit produced a reported ~2.95% yoUSD drawdown through Resolv-linked exposure, a useful reminder that NAV-appreciating tokens can also absorb strategy losses. Backed by Paradigm, Haun Ventures, and Coinbase Ventures, yoUSD remains a sophisticated {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} product, but the relevant question is no longer whether the NAV only climbs; it is whether the extra yield compensates for the portfolio's tail risk.
