ERC-4626 USDC vault allocating across Pendle PTs, Morpho/Silo vaults, and private credit; risk is allocator decisions and venue performance, not USDC backing.

YieldFi yUSD is an ERC-4626 {{term:yield-bearing}}yield-bearing{{/term}} vault over USDC that allocates capital across Pendle principal tokens, Morpho and Silo vaults, and private-credit vaults. Its stability depends on USDC as the native underlying, but its holder risk comes from active allocator decisions and the performance of those yield venues. Pharos tracks it separately from Aegis YUSD and YO Protocol yoUSD because the name collision hides a distinct issuer and reserve strategy.

## Collateral

USDC deposited into the yUSD ERC-4626 vault and allocated by YieldFi's manager across Pendle principal tokens, Morpho and Silo lending vaults, private-credit positions, and market-neutral/delta-neutral strategies (private LP deals, hedged carry, basis, and funding-rate spreads across whitelisted protocols)

## Peg Mechanism

ERC-4626 share over USDC priced at NAV ((Series Assets - Series Liabilities) / tokens outstanding), valued at least twice weekly using Chainlink oracles; value tracks the dollar through delta-neutral strategy returns rather than direct redemption against fiat reserves
