How to read coverage
Coverage answers whether Pharos can show a feature for a specific asset today. A blank or unavailable state is a data boundary, not an implied risk grade.
Use the matrix before comparing depegs, liquidity, yield, or mint/burn flows across long-tail assets.
Market-cap coverage shows how much of the stablecoin economy each feature reaches; coin-count coverage shows how broad the underlying asset support is.

What features does Pharos track for each stablecoin?
Pharos tracks twelve coverage surfaces per stablecoin: price/depeg monitoring, Safety Score report cards, DEX price coverage, reserve views, modeled redemption backstop routes, yield intelligence, configured issuance-chain mint/burn flows, FreezeWatch/freezable-status review, EU MiCA assessment status, U.S. GENIUS implementation-watch status, dependency-map visibility, and mint-authority review.
How are the Safety Score's open questions counted?
Each missing datum is counted once as a question, at the root stablecoin of its supply chain, and grouped by what it measures (a control, an exit route, a reserve exposure) rather than per card. Every question lands in exactly one bucket: Open questions still need research; Not disclosed by issuers means Pharos reviewed the input and the issuer does not publish it, dated to that review; Documentation gaps are inputs the score cannot materially use. The per-datum obligation count is published alongside them, so the detail behind each question stays listed.
Why do some stablecoins have incomplete coverage?
Coverage gaps typically stem from three factors: data availability (some newer or smaller stablecoins lack sufficient on-chain history for certain metrics), technical constraints (not all chains support the same level of RPC access for mint/burn tracking), and design differences (some wrapper or protocol-native designs do not expose traditional reserve reporting, while many assets do not expose a direct issuer or protocol redemption path). Pharos marks these gaps clearly rather than showing misleading placeholders.
How often is coverage data updated?
Prices and peg scores refresh every 15 minutes. Safety scores publish hourly, while daily safety-grade history powers historical snapshots and safety-change alerts. DEX liquidity refreshes hourly; DEWS stress signals, PSI, and mint/burn flows refresh every 30 minutes. Yield rankings refresh every two hours, with slower supplemental source families updated every four hours. Blacklist events refresh every six hours, and live reserve plus redemption backstop snapshots refresh every four hours. The coverage matrix reflects the current availability state and updates as new data sources come online or existing ones expand.
